Xbox presented the Xbox One S that can support 4k gaming to be released around the same time as the PS4K (Neo).
It is reasonably priced there for able to give sales to microsoft.
Project Scorpio is there true device and releasing the specs was just to show that they are working on it and gives people a way to compare the Scorpio to the Neo.

As someone who owns a very capable pc, whats my incentive to get the scorpio over neo?
or nx for that metter lol
Console exclusives. That would be about it.

But ill be able ti play like 95% of them om the pc :( Noth really worth dropping 600+ or what ever it will cost for just halo which os the only one not on pc at the moment.

Xbox One S supports 4K video but not 4K gaming. The 4K Blu-Ray playback is pretty cool when you consider 4K Blu-Ray players cost $300 to $400. All-in-all, this mid-cycle console refresh is going about as smoothly as the 4K video transition.

Ok, i figured it meant it could display in 4k but not at true 4k quality. So thank you for the clarification.

Is there even 4k Blu-ray discs? Or are they just called Blue-Ray?
-
There's 4K Blu-Ray as the official standard. There aren't that many 4K Blu-Ray movies available, but they exist. (If you live in America like I do, 4K streaming is not a viable option.)

Just looked one up, 400 dollars. That is insane!
