U don't understand how range works. It affects the damage drop off AND accuracy. They nerfed hand cannon to make it only work within intended range. A regular HC without range perk during during HoW has longer range than eyasluna with rifled barrel. I never have phantom bullet problem in close quarter engagement. U need to learn to manage the distance, because now u can't use one weapon to cover every situation.

That doesn't make any sense. In year one, a hand cannon with low range could hit targets across the map. Now, hand cannons with high range will sometimes not even hit the target right in front of them. I know range affects accuracy, but accuracy itself needs to be increased on hand cannons. And I'm not missing or engaging from a distance - my bullets are clearly going through targets. When you hit and enemy with a hand cannon, it created a very distinct sound. The sound will go off, but my bullets won't do damage.

The problem is.... that intended range stuff is bullshit. that weapons are limited for a range sucks. Destroys the game. Its just a bad way for a shooter.... They -blam!-ed it up

Range only affects accuracy when the bullet is out of the effective range. You can be close enough that the bullet should hit the target, and the crosshairs be on it, and still miss sometimes.

Tell that to my 5 inch grouping at 45 yards with a .357 magnum. You don't see my bullets disappearing do you?

Let's see how accurate you are in a panic situation when someone is trying to kill you. It's easier to shoot accurately when there's no pressure.

Oh no doubt, but the fact of the matter is still that my bullets aren't going to just tear a hole through space time and hit some poor -blam!- in the stone age if I fire too quickly.

Show me how to launch a purple energy ball that explode on impact, oops, u can't. So don't compare a real gun with hand cannon in destiny.

You're right. Obviously all this space magic is negatively impacting our Hand Cannons.
