Trials Broken ? REZO / Bungie please fix
look at the image and please someone explain how this is a fair match. look at our ELO compare to theirs. Odds of winning OMG no even close. can someone please explain trials matchmaking.

2 RepliesIt's all win based. It's usually why I win the first match and then just get f**ked the next 4 games. Bungie says that 16% of people win the ToO 9-0 (old numbers, may have changed), but it's more or less the same people every time. Fair? Maybe. The higher skill players consistently win. Fun? No. Not for the Bob Johnson that just wants a doctrine of passing, but only has 1,000 ELO. Is there a way to "fix" the matchmaking? Yes, but it would basically totally defeat the purpose of the current matchmaking. (This is assuming, of course, that it is working "as intended") It's a complex problem that should be looked into.

5 RepliesThere is no skill based match making system to trials. It is all win based. The more wins you get of course the more likely you are to meet up with the buzz saw teams. That is really the point of it isn't it? A best of the best arena? I know the game is not that sort generally speaking but That was the trials design. Any one else was just there to do the bounties and supply those teams with easy wins.

4 RepliesI have faced Dr Lupo, Ramblinn, Pokethecarebear, SirMaestro, and I dont remember who else in Trials. I find it fun and a way to truly test your skill, Im yet to match Kjhovey and Krafty, or Lumi and company but I would really like to.

It's not skill based in trials, it's win based, it would be far too easy if it was skilled based.

30 RepliesYou new? Trials matchmaking is based on how many wins you have. You're gonna be paired against someone with the same wins. Doesn't matter about the stats.

Uhhh you randomly match up against teams based on how many wins you have on your card. For example, sometimes you will go up against people that are MUCH better then you on your first game. It's called bad luck. That's why you have a mercy boon. Sadly enough, my team once LOST to a team of scrubs. No one with a +KD and all had terrible ELOs.

Eh we got matched against kjhovey and another rezo member first match yesterday and got our ass handed to us .. is just random just get over it dude was actually crazy to see a great pvp player in action first hand

It sucks but stats aren't everything .. Just look at my last games .. We used no land beyond my past 10 games .. The whole team and beat teams that 100% should of beat us..
