I am a huge doom fan from way back in '93 or '94 and have played everyone one that has come since. I played the closed beta and wasn't impressed with the movement or the flow. The game has potential and some cool ideas but it is no Destiny killer.

1 ReplyDoom is awesome! I just don't know if it'll be the destiny killer you claim. The only real destiny killer is....you ready for this? Destiny. Their refusal to implement what the players want, but rather what they think we should want it what's going to kill this game. It's already working.

Nah. But it does need a new version, new storyline, new planets, raid ect. while being able to play the old stuff as well at the lvl being used on all newer versions to come.

Lol doom will probably be a great play the first time through. But it won't keep people coming back for 20 months. Which is why I still believe destiny is the best value for a video game out there.

25 RepliesDoom multiplayer looks like garbage. The same bunny hopping strafe jumping idiocy of its predecessors. I also saw direct hit rocket launchers that didn't kill. Weapons look so messed up. You can keep it. I'll take a shooter that actually requires strategy and skill.

Doom won't kill anything,it's got a repetitive campaign that's only 13 hours long and lackluster multiplayer. If you bought doom you just wasted 60 bucks. It's worth about 30 maybe.
