My job requires me to stand in the same spot for hours at a time on a hard concrete floor. My ankles are really bad from injuries sustained during sports in high school so after a long work day if I go home and sit down for any longer than ten minutes my left ankle locks up and I'm no longer able to walk.

Stiff ankles. All you need to do is stretch the joint every night before bed.

You should try those new shoes they have like a bowed center for better arch and ankle support (nurses wear them alot) I can t speak from experience but I'd say it's worth a shot. Also you should get that left ankle checked man don't let it go to long or you may end up with serious injury.
