So...does Iron Banner seem more Brutal this time around?
I did not play the last IB because I was taking a break from the game, but I had played all the previous ones and had a good amount of success. I don't consider myself a God by any means at Crucible or Iron Banner but I'm usually a pretty solid PvP player.
For some reason though, this IB has seemed, I don't want to say more difficult, but well....more difficult.
I just can't seem to get a real good foot hold. I'm used to, the majority of the time, placing at least top three on my team w/ a + K/D ratio and a crap ton of points. But this IB I'm having a rough go for sure. I'm hanging around the .500 mark K/D wise loosing the majority of the time , and I feel most games I'm letting my teammates down which even frustrates me more.
I just can't place my finger on it either.
I have tried an array of different load-outs - everything from Mida, Suros Regime - Dealbreaker - Haakon's Hatchet - sniper rifles - shotguns - rockets and machine guns.
I can't find that perfect balance of weaponry that I have been able to in the past.
It seems that if I get on a roll, I get magically shotgunned from behind, I'm a grenade magnet, if I encounter an enemy in a one on one battle and I'm about to win his buddy comes and saves the day. I have been getting killed when I spawn more than I ever did before.
Before the "Git gud skrub!" Comments begin to flow like water, this isn't a complaining post, it's just a simple question, and then an explanation of where I'm coming from, to see if anyone else has experienced the same frustration I have this IB.
P.S - I LOVE the new Drop Rate for gear.

I love iron banner, I seem to do better than normal crucible. I suck at trials though.

4 RepliesI like it being competitive now with people running multiple load outs. But I hate when I get a guy on my team that drags us down with his 2-22 / 0.09 kd. I mean, I enjoy a few adult beverages while I play.... But 0.09 kd means you can't find your damn tv.

i do great when the lobby is mostly english or European, but of a night when it's yanks i can't hit shit and seem to always have a one on one with the guy who's walking into walls so u shottie him in the back and then u die by his punch to the back of you're head.. Lag😢 also i have noticed a few games where u go to pick up special while getting rushed then a slight glitch happens and it wont let u pick it up, then u get shot from behind and theu just walk over and pick it up first time.. what's that about??? lag switch by the enemy maybe! ID LOVE TO KNOW WTF IS GOING ON

2 RepliesLast IB clash was fantastic. This round of it is complete shit. I played in at least 4 matches last night where the team I was on couldn't even pick up ammo crates. We just stood there pressing x over and over again and wouldn't get anything, even on heavy, but for some reason the other teams had no problems shooting rockets up our asses. I blame Bungie's bullshit SBMM those asshats or into operation. It's total shit. Long ass wait times just to be put in a team that's laggy as hell and has players tanking bullets left and right. Bungie just can't seem to do shit right when the mess with their system. They need to go back to CBMM, especially if they're going to continue to be a bunch of cheap asses and expect this "10 year" game to last without pumping some cash into their servers or lack thereof.

Loads of high rof auto rifles, not bothered because that's what I normally use (suros mainly) but the vendor hatchet is awesome, managing to keep up with the doctrines ect.

The average time played for each player is way higher now than it was before = everyone is better = more competitive No new people really starting to play destiny now

1 ReplyIt's a bit more sweaty than usual, yeah. Buuuut I kinda like it. Kinda. I feel like IB should be tougher than reg crucible. Most of the matches I've played have been close, real close. Hard fought games. Good shit. I just hope it doesn't bleed over into normal modes....

1 ReplyMaybe it depends on what time of day you'd play? Definitely seems a little more competitive that's a regular clash match. No IB weapons drops yet but that's okay.

Ive been cosisietenly getting a 2.00 Kd and then immiediately get like a 0.7-0.8 Kd

1 ReplyI just cant stand Iron Banner anymore. I loved it in year 1 back when it was the first couple times it was around, but now all it is is people running around with shottys or camping in the back sniping. Only reason I played this one was because of the auto rifle.

It sounds like you're just thinking too much about it. Don't worry about your kdr, just go in and have fun with it. Whatever load out you prefer, run with it. Just go in have fun and you will watch your score start to pick back up. Good luck guardian.
