I speed run where applicable. Doesn't mean I don't enjoy shooting stuff where necessary. A good example of this is the undying mind strike and the sunless cell. In the undying mind part, you are forced to play out the opening area until you kill everything. Cool. The next part on the steps isn't that way. So I'm going to sprint to the top of the stairs where I can super the hell out of the vex majors in the hallway at the top of the steps. Once I get through that, I'm flying through to the boss. I still kill a ton of ads and complete the strike as efficiently as possible. Same goes for the sunless cell. There are a few areas where you can just skip the ads and move on. Why waste time on ads I don't have to kill? In the end, for me, it is about getting rep to rank up the vanguard. I've ran through all of these strikes before, taking my sweet time. I want to get through these as fast as possible to increase my rep and gain the most out of my vanguard booster.

Yeah I guess when it bothered me the most was playing the blighted chalice for the first time and already have people speeding through. Had literally been out a couple hours! I do get speed runs after a while, when I'm bored with them. Just wish we could opt out for when I do feel like taking my time. Or when there are sorta fresh strikes
