Is making a pure magic\pyromancer user smart? Like only str or dex for a good one hand and that's it

Edited by Zargon: 4/19/2016 5:52:53 PMDepends, I personally wouldn't make a pure caster right now since I don't know all the spells and FromSoftware have really toned down magic this time around. It is fun, but will ultimately leave you behind as you progress further into the game. I'm personally running a battlemage as my second character, where melee is my main form of offense but with magic to supplement the way of fighting. Dex/Int hybrid is my best offer for you.

Do you have any good dex weapons you would recommend? Besides katanas I hate those lol
