I know they already let you know if someone quits in the killfeed, but as of now it's just some white text. What if Bungie elaborated on that, made it a little bit more flashy and public? I dunno, add a notification sound, emote next to the text, brighter color, something like that. I just thought it might discourage quitting if people are getting a little more heat for doing it.
