IT'S A "DON'T NEED TO PAY MORE" DLC, STOP COMPLAINING ONCE..
Guys guys... About the news.. Be at least once happy...
It's a free DLC right, people working on that content are not making any money for the company. Yes they will reuse some stuff we had before, and that's totally fair. How can you make new content to make people happy and still don't waste too much money on it => reuse old stuff to make some new, that's a fair compromise ?
They have a team working hard on the next big expansion later this year and another team even bigger working on Destiny 2 for next year. It's not like if lazy developers were taking drugs with some Russian chicks around a swimming pool at the top of Bungie's building.
Edit: I saw a few comments about the DLC being part of TTK. So Instead of Free DLC, let's say then "you don't need to pay more for it" DLC. But I guess it's the same issue for any "Free DLC" (the division, the witcher...), it's never really free if you had to pay for a game at first. *Okay*
Edit2: Okay they get money from the emotes that many people bought. But if the money is an issue for you I guess you didn't buy any emotes in the first place.

Edit4: it is sad that I just wanted people to stop complaining and to just be happy once but they found a way to focus on FREE and DLC on my post and that's all... I guess I should just give up on them... :/

8 RepliesThe first real content update in 7 months. Yeah i'm happy but what the -blam!-. If COD can make 4 multiplayer maps, a zombies map, and a few guns every 2 or 3 months? Why can't bungie? Why can rockstar release small content monthly or every other month for free? Why can't bungie? Sparrow racing was fun, why not bring it back again with some new gear and sparrows? Yeah it takes time to make that but 7 months? No.

This would work If they used old stuff and upgraded on it. But they just give us the same things we used to do. All of this content should of stayed relevant in the first place. It shouldn't of took them 8 month to upgrade the old activities. They are only doing this to save ass. Bungie has become the laughing topic of the gaming world.

Price isn't the issue, it never has been. People just want more content, something that'll keep them engaged until the fall. As to whether this spring update will deliver that or not it's too early to tell, we don't know enough about it yet, although the release date is definitely good news, by spring I had been expecting late May or June.

ITT people who care an abnormal amount about the semantics of free/not free. ITT those same people ignoring the semantics that it is a DLC as in you are going to DownLoad the Content of the update.

Saying that it's not free because it's considered part of TTK is a ridiculous reason, as the same could be said about any free update for any game as it's adding more to the base game that you already paid for.
