I don't know why bungie won't just show the actual ping time for all players in a match.
That way you could see what's going on with everyone's connections, instead of a nondescript coloured bar.

Because every half decent gamer would run away because literally everone is in the 200-1000 ping range.
-
That's mental. I mean, on blacklight, my ping is usually 50ms-120ms, with very few exceptions, and the majority of people I play against are in the same sort of range.
-
Not in Destiny, I guarantee you that.
-
I wonder why destiny's p2p is so awful, compared with other online shooters?
-
I think it's the P2P. Every half decent game has dedicated servers.
-
I agree, they did basically what cod ghost did and we all know how terrible that game went over (the competitive side was amazing) no ping bar, not dedicated servers for 360 the bigger console at the time. Destiny is the one game that lags for me, cods fine, division runs smoothly enough. CS GO has no lag whatsoever, like literally the one game I have issues with is destiny

Yup! I've been playing blacklight retribution a lot lately, and yes, there is lag on occasion, but generally, it's predictable. You don't get shot through walls, or have invincible players taking no damage from you. Also, because you can see everyone's ping time, you know where the problems are.
