Verity of play styles?
All you could use was a auto rifle because it had the range of a scout and the DPS to kill in almost a half second. The seros era still has me traumatized. This is the most balanced it has been yet. All I believe needs done is stability buff for pulse rifles and legendary handcannons need a reduction in the bloom effect (but the exotic ones can stay the same) and we should have a nice balance. The problem is people are out for blood from the scout rifles actually being a usable weapon in pvp they want it destroyed.

I get what you're saying. Back then ARs were dominating like I said, but Im sure Bungie could've buffed the pulse rifles and handcannons to match the dps. Instead they nerfed ARs and massively buffed Pulse rifles. If both were leveled from the start of this game the community would have 2 or 3 primary archetypes to choose from instead of just ARs. Before deployment Bungie should at least test their "fixes" out thoroughly. Fixing bugs creates more bugs, and Bungie takes forever to fix issues that we want fix. For example.. "Melee hit detection".

Edited by chemlord11: 2/7/2016 7:53:18 AMI'm one of those weird people who prefer single shot high persision weapons. AKA high impact scout and handcannons, so for my play style this is actually the most balanced pvp has ever been seeing as I can use both while clearly not being dominant over others in the process. The changes I listed where from my play style perspective. The recoil and flinch prevents pulse rifles from being competitive with scouts and handcannons have to wait a hair too long to get follow up shots on people in the CQC range they are ment for. Auto rifles are being used a ton right now so there is no problem with them and scouts as far as I can see are fine, maybe make short range a little harder on scouts so they aren't battling auto rifles at 15m (I don't feel like mathing for imperial range when the game goes by metric) but then we have to think about pve for that to not piss anyone off.
