Man, I took my drivers test in Hawaii, they totally failed me. The locals in Hawaii are not known for their reception and generosity to the average mainland American or Soldier...even though they are Americans too... I was like, man I drive LMTVs on publics roads, what gives. Then I get stationed in Texas and Coppers Cove DMV passes me. Maybe because I'm a Texas native? Hmmmmmm? Anyways, good job on passing, it took me till I was 28 to actually get up and get my Drivers license.
