Smite is a more casual MOBA. There is still item building, still tons of strategy, seventy something characters available to play, and a lot to learn. But it's tons of fun, too.
Just find a god you like playing, figure out a build(I look mine up online), and just play. You'll get your ass beat at first. No way around that. You'll get the hang of it, though.

I've been hearing that it's more casual than others, which is good, since it'll be my first time playing a MOBA. I don't know how much I'll be able to learn just playing on my own though. I don't trust that I'll be able to learn things on my own, lol.

You can play "co-op" against AI bots if you want. That's how I got the hang of it. Actually launching a game PvP, 3v3 Joust for the first time was a pretty big deal for my friend and I. That was probably two weeks after starting to play the game, and neither of us really ever played a MOBA before Smite. Nowadays we're both pretty damn good.

Edited by Sapphire: 2/3/2016 6:11:07 AMLol I don't even know what the game modes are. But it's good to know that someone else, you, who also wasn't really into MOBAs at first could get good at it!
