Ryan didn't want to fire Marty moron. Ryan was told by activision (the big bosses) that Marty should go & he didn't fire Marty. It wasn't until Marty (and this was confirmed by multiple staff) started becoming a disturbance to the staff, refusing to work & bassically throwing tantrums around the office that he was let go. Get your facts right first. But this is good news. The new CEO might not bash bungies head into the dirt like Ryan has.

  • And yet he still won his lawsuit. He literally gets to collect money without working from bungie forever now.

  • He won the amount of money for his contact because he had finished the work. Bungie was still found right in firing him and holding his earnings, just not keeping them.

  • Ok, I'll rephrase so you can untwist your panties. He was only awarded his pay for his contract, he also was given pay for his vacation time. 50% of his initial stock was given back, and 15% profits from 2014, 10% profits for 2015 and %5 for 2016. But he also was relinquished of all his copies of whatever the music was called, and his rights to it were striped. Along with any bungie merchandise he had in his possession.

  • and links and court papers say it was Ryan who first suggested Donnel should be let go off (ur right after he was being a "disturbance" but only because he was holding back the game so it wouldnt be so buggy he knew the games wasnt ready and needed more time so as music director he delayed his work. and activision was clearly unstructing their creative freedom after there was hard proof activision changed his work without permission and prevented him from publishing his music work he wasnt the same after knowing what activision was doing was wrong and no one would back him uo not even THE PRESIDENT!

  • I think I'd be bitter to, but damned if I'd lose my job over it. At least he won some cash in the lawsuit.
