To advocate for a game I haven't seen anybody else mention, Space Station Silicon Valley is a quirky and unique game that'd be fun for you to pick up. With regards to your question on Zelda, in my opinion Ocarina of Time hasn't aged well, Majora's Mask is the better game.

Well it's got great reviews, oh my. Will definitely hunt this. Thanks for the tip on Zelda! Will I understand enough of the story?

Zelda games don't usually require you to play them in any particular order, Majora's Mask is very unusual in that it does directly follow Ocarina of Time but only somewhat coincidentally. You'll understand the story just fine, there's only one small nuance that you might miss out on that serves as Link's initial motivation (read: excuse) for being where he is at the beginning of the game, but that gets quickly steamrolled by the plot about two minutes in and is largely ignored for the rest of the game. I can't remember if the opening text properly alludes to it, but you'll probably figure it out. It could still be entirely worth it to play Ocarina of Time first though, if only to gain a better appreciation for how Majora's Mask is different. I just found the pacing to be a tad slow and clunky after the fact.

The story for every, traditional, Zelda is the same but in different environments. To save Zelda you must go through 7, I think, dungeons to get gems to then fight the final boss, who is usually Gannon. Majora's Mask is different (I think), I have yet to play it on my 3ds because I am finishing Ocarina of Time but I myself would recommend Ocarina of Time as the better of the two Zelda games from what I've seen in Majora's Mask.

  • The two games are quite different - mostly because of Majora's Mask's core looping mechanic. Ocarina of Time definitely does have more official dungeons, but Majora's Mask has more side content and better "stuff between dungeons", giving it a better pace and more things to do. I concede that I may value Majora's Mask more simply because it stands out above a sea of Zelda games which tried to copy Ocarina of Time to mixed degrees of success, but the two games are still classics.

Yea, that's what I've heard. I have yet to play it but I anxiously await to.
