Honestly picking up a Nyko Databank will be a better value. It allows you to use a 3.5 inch hdd with your ps4. 3.5 inch hard drives allow much more versatility. Not only on are they cheaper, they are vastly faster. A 3.5 inch hdd paired with the nyko databank will cost roughly the same amount and will be significantly faster; 7200rpm instead of 5400, and double the cache; never mind the fact tha6 for only $20 more you can use a 2tb Hybrid drive which will be greatly superior.

Does this add space to what's already inside?

No you have to take out your current hard drive for this one to go in. I have a 4TB in my ps4

I also looked at that one, but storage was my main concern, and making the games loading speeds a bit wasn't enough for me to get that big ole thing on the ps4 haha

You can get up to 6TB with the data bank. Mine has a 4TB hard drive in it. The data bank is your better bet.
