I hate these topics because I know there will be posts like
"Who's kjhovey? One of those youtubers/streamers? Can't believe people watch people play a game."

I was on stream one day and a viewer asked me to try the envenom smoke + grenade combo. I used it and had a lot of fun with it. Another person in stream jokingly said it was the wombo combo, probably because I often talk about competitive melee. We thought it was funny and just started using it. That's it... no reason to get jimmies rustled :P.
I showcased it in some videos, which probably helped to spread it. That's it.

I first heard Managator call it the wombo combo but I don't really watch your streams, just the YouTube. Was it you or him that came up with the term or do you not know? I don't really think it's cheesy either it takes a while to throw off both nades and a lot of times you're in the air exposed while you throw them making yourself very vulnerable. Also the AoE of the nade and smoke is very small.

The term "wombo combo" is nothing new, and span multiple games. I play DOTA 2 for PC, and the meta for that game is a lot like Destiny's metagame. People talk about wombo combos all the time for various character builds.

True. Look, I knew they were going to be hate, but I just say it annoys me. Is for me, a cheap combination. It is creative and efficent, like a stragety is. Just that for ME, is annyoing. Just like using firebolt grenades with Touch of Flame, Vikings funeral and Voidfang Vestments, so is easy to win a gunfight (not guarnteed, but it helps win one).

I wondering when you were going to get into the mix. Let me first say, this is not an insult. 1) What level of difficulty do you think is appropriate in weapon use to be considered an allowable tactic? I see post like this all of the time but usually there is no explanation other than "it killed me so it nooby/OP". As I said I like a good debate but kinda hard to argue personal experience. 2) Could ya define what's a noob/OP tactic. Here, I'll go first. OP- a weapon or ability that dominates other weapons or abilities of the same class and far exceeds its intended use in most situations. If any other class strikes an opponent with their grenade AND melee ability that opponent will die. Why would smoke and vortex be any different. Hell, some grenades will straight out kill a group without any added melee if it hits right. Just trying to get you flesh out this complaint.

I wouldn't have a problem if the smoke slows you down a LOT, slows your reload speed.

OK, so are you saying you want it to ONLY slow down reloads

Either A. Slows you down and do vision obscure B. Do damage, but slows you down a bit C. Obscures vision for 5 seocnds when you leave and damage, but you move normally
