5hours a day is not enough
So basically... thats the time I spend online. I seperate that 'each day' between daily (5mins), crucible (10mins) patrol and other whatevers for the 4hours. So patrol and whatever else I waste my time on should give me 200 weapons parts and 25k glimmer, yeah? Or is that if i do it for a week?
Im just curious cos like you -blam!-ers who have never been below 20k glimmer are year 1 players who know their weapons, yeah? Or you -blam!-ers who think you can grind 25k glimmer in 2hours? Bullshit. Show me

Edit. I can make a new character run it through TDB, HoW and TTK and still have less than 10k glimmer. This is bungie not me. Keep grinding dumb fockers

If you're a warlock, get alchemist raiment, and a ghost that gives more glimmer on taken kills. Or do alchemists, and a hive glimmer buff in crotas end, go through, destroy everything that you get on all three characters, and trade that in for glimmer. If you destroy a fully maxed out weapon you get a small amount of glimmer, great if you finished using a weapon, or for year one things, whenever you go into a heroic strike get a glimmer consumable ready based on the briefing that you get. Along with taken ghost, and alchemist raiment you get a decent amount of glimmer. Need I go on?

Change your ghost to match the enemy of the level youre on,Ive got 1 for fallen,hive & taken,I can grind 25k a night easy & burn it on parts or heavy synths.

Just have the obsidian mind spread nova bomb on the yellow version of exclusion zone and take out all the yellows and die to the Reds over and over. Now I just use my different ghost while grinding strikes and I don't even notice it before I have 25k. Just be glad upgrades don't cost as much as they did in Vanilla, that was terrible.

Just go to glimmer grinding spots, the one I used to use got me max glimmer in around 1 hour and 45 minutes to 2 hours, depended how quickly I wiped after each run

I do 3 strikes a day for glimmer. Use respective glimmer increases for types of mobs. Do the daily crucible match and daily story. That's tge weekdays. Weekends is raid on Friday, trials is Saturday and I dick around on Sunday.

I do about three hours of raids every Tuesday for 3 wins. Than three flawless runs on Saturday or Sunday. So less than ten hours a week. And I have a 320

If you want glimmer, and got a warlock, use the new warlock exotic chest and do 36 lvl strikes with the glimmer farming things on, i got from 2k to 25k in under a few hours

Pop a consumable, run the raid, dismantle all the engrams you got. Failing that, run some strikes, pick up the little bits that drop and you can turn in for 250 glimmer. I can't remember the last time I didn't have 25k glimmer.. What are you even spending it on?

6 RepliesWell you're cheerful, oh you btw you can 25k glimmer in just under an hour, exclusion zone hard, with resupply codes, hope you always struggle though.

I think the best way to grind glimmer is in gatekeeper on a normal VoG, kill all the yellow bars, they drop glimmer at that part for whatever reason, rinse repeat. It takes maybe about a minute and a half, give or take 30 seconds, and you get somewhere around 400-500 glimmer per run. It adds up pretty quick. I used to do that during IB. But I agree, I just hit 33 glimmer the other day cause I was spending like crazy. HoW really drained me for resources and I never really recovered.

Do HOW story line, you get something like 2 royal amethyst that give you 5000 each. Once done go to abandoned quest kiosk in tower, do missions again, profit.

Solo Crotas end 3 times a week Delete all weapons / armour you get Transfer all radiant energies into radiant shards On average, I earn 70 radiant shards a week. Which a worth 250 glimmer each. It adds up quick.
