Hell yeah it did. It was the most broken thing in the game lol. The instant parry startup on, I think it was monastery scim, was annoying too >_<.

I always liked PvP, but I often felt outclassed using a pure strength great sword build which was my favorite. I always felt like hybrid builds just outclassed pure builds too much, but maybe that's just because I didn't wanna use hammers, and was about average at parrying. I felt like I was alright at pvp though given my shitty un-optimized builds lol.

Hybrid builds were insane in that game. And the leveling so favored hybrid builds in the first place.

Yep. It sucked using a slow ass ultra greatsword when an enchanted katana or claymore could do just as much damage or more lol.
