It's because of the lack of respect Hunters give towards others within this community hence why your reputation has dropped so low.
I'm not saying every Hunter is an assh*le, but literally, the mass majority of you are.
The Community has pride for their Titans and Warlocks, yet the Hunters brag about nothing but their "skill", what they've achieved, what Gear they have, and demand that if you do not have a certain weapon or piece of gear, then your skill doesn't count for anything.
Most Hunters have the mindset of an anti-social Teenager whom believes the world of Destiny revolves around them and only them.
Now, I will say this, I have many friends who main Hunters, and they're some of the best people I've ever met in online gaming.
Therefore there are only a handful of Hunters that actually have a sense of respect and consideration for their team.
I thank them for that.
Reminder: This has nothing to do with the fact that I do not have a Hunter nor the amount of experience I have with the game. This is about personality.

It's kind of annoying. I just pick a random class because I like the look of the Cape and turns out it's the most hated class. I don't really like the fact that some hunters complain and people then just assume they're all a*sholes.

[b]Personally.[/b] Notice what I said. Ok? Ok. I think that Hunter is a class based around skill. I'm not saying it requires skill to press LB and RB to activate bladedancer and spam RB to get a kill. I'm saying I noticed people who main a Titan or a Warlock, play a Hunter and do absolute trash. In both PvE and PvP. They then proceed to claim Hunters are a bad class and contemplate about deleting it. Not trying to sound like I have an ego or anything. But, I consider myself a skilled player and I find my self doing better as my Hunter. I'm not saying the supers require skill. If I did, that's like saying it requires skill to use a shotgun. I'm not trying to start World War 3 or cause an uprising. I just think Hunters are a skilled based class.

Well i main a titan yet my hunter has a better kd then my titan, hunters personally to me are easier to use.

But did everyone hate Titans and warlocks for a year of complaints? No, in fact they hated hunters or having better supers. The notion that hunters make sh*t posts, complain the most, or are the most rude is just bullsh*t, and is complete hypocrisy from warlocks and Titans. [b]It's just bullsh[i]i[/i]t, hunters have done literally nothing to merit the hate they get, they didn't whine in year 1 and were hated out of salt, and now that hate has just become part of the destiny culture and people have bulsh[i]i[/i]tted themselves and each other into thinking hunters are whiners or crybabies, a role which both warlocks and Titans filled for a f[i]u[/i]cking year. That's why hunters are hated, not for any logical reason, not because they're whiners or rude or inferior, just because butthurt Titans and warlocks wanted subclasses as good as the hunter ones and directed all their salt to the hunters they envied.[/b]

i think, a lot of anti-social teenagers main hunters for the sole fact that they have/had the best neutral/competitive ground game and supers and can dominate over others. they behave cocky and arrogant. i know there are a lot of good ones, but i also feel like the mahority are dickheads

In my experience, when it comes to raiding, the Titans seem to be the stuck up ones. They are able to set high requirements because of how important a Defender Titan is for some teams. I have been kicked from many raids so the leader could invite a Titan. Most of these Titans are nice people, they just have high standards. When it comes to Crucible, that is when Hunters take that roll.
