An archer is one way to kinda cheat at beating dragons and tougher bosses. You can keep far away and when your heroes go down you can run a little farther away from the enemy and your heroes will come back to life. I would strongly recommend that you have a Mage with resurrection capabilities. Once you get your castle fortress, the game really expands with castle customization and just general stuff you can do
