I don't know about that it rewards you with some good stuff. Plenty of exotic drops.

By the time ToO Year 2 was released I already had all of the Year 2 exotics, besides you can get exotics elsewhere, so there isn't much point doing it for the exotics. The guns and armors are ok and all but I really think it misses something in comparison to the Year 1 version where weapons were really good and you would also get a few more Etheric Lights for you to upgrade your past stuff. Now you get an armor or a lackluster weapon with a random light value.
