To you? Nothing. To somebody else who is religious it is a common belief, a shared interest. It's just like finding out somebody else likes a sport as much as you, it's just another level of connection. The fact you don't see how shared interests and beliefs could make somebody like another person more, just because you dont like religion (I'm guessing anyway, I obviously don't know you), is quite sad.
