Died to a y1? Your problem, not mine.
What's with all these kids trying to dictate what guns others should use? Currently y1 guns are still at max potential only in crucible and whatever classic strike playlist there is now. There's nothing stopping you from pulling out your y1 guns and trying to combat mine but for some reason you're too caught up on pride to realize that y1 guns outclass y2 in just about every category.
Feel free to try and prove me wrong. Show me a gun that's best in it's class and I'm pretty sure I can offer a y1 gun that outclasses it.
Edit: ok since people are too stupid to realize what point I'm making let me reiterate it but a bit more simple. [b]YOU HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO CHOOSE YOUR OWN GUNS TO USE IN CRUCIBLE SO WHY DONT YOU LET OTHER PEOPLE EXERCISE THIS RIGHT AS WELL INSTEAD OF BITCHING ABOUT IT. [/b] hell, I'll even provide an example with the old meta. Remember when last word and thorn were king? Well it was always your choice to equip one or you could try and compete with inferior guns. I actually loved to use no land against TLW users but if I found out the user is absolutely outclassing me then I usually switched to my own TLW and tried to compete.

3 RepliesFeel free to use your y1 weapons while you can, but once Destiny eventually fixes this stupid balancing act with their weapons and everything gets reworked, don't bitch about your Felwinter's not owning anymore. (run on sentences ftw!) Besides Bungie gave us too powerful (+ unbalanced) guns in Y1 and that was their mistake. Shouldn't have set such a high standard.

"Said to be" creating a lower light level when we use it in trials or ironbanner..but still able to kill effectively when balanced out with 1 x 170 plus other 300 plus light gear. What does it matter anyways? Other than you giving pple bragging rights when kill others with Felwinter or other yr 1 weapons... especially so when your victim has no access to yr 1 weapons... Solution, bungie patch and remove all yr 1 gear n weapons and give u motes of light.. no need for such post in the future. World Peace!

I only get salty when I'm killed by a year 1 felwinters with rangefinder because that person clearly needs a gun that ridiculous to do any kind of work in PvP. But I'm not bothered enough by it to complain about it verbally or to make a post about it. I remember reading a post from a guy who bragged about tbagging someone who was using gally in crucible, and acted like he was doing social justice by doing so. Who cares?

I like using thorn/hopscotch as a primary usually get a message saying something like "This is y2 scrub." I then grab my PDX-45 and proceed to destroy 😂

Started using Thorn in crucible.....the handling(cough cough, that's it, cough cough) increased my KD ration by .6

5 RepliesThat's not really the point. I miss year one I really do. My 3 favorite guns all time are from year one (VoC, Gjally, and Ice Breaker) so I get it. But it's year 2 so it's kind of stupid and very scrub like to still use year one weapons. Move on with the times. I don't see people still the very first cell phone where you basically carried a car battery with you. No, they adapted. So should you.

I was surprised to find how much I like Hawksaw (was forced to use it when buddy abruptly took us into crucible). But I still run my Dry Rot and Ash Factory in the other slots....
