You should be enjoying the deaths just as much as he is. This is a proving ground for him, especially at that age, and if you punish him for his failures, the repercussions will persist throughout all other aspects of his life.

  • Not punish put down, like switch him to something else that's more his speed. My first games were legend of Zelda link to the past, pokemon red, an rc plane flight simulator and doom. Then my dad got me a virtual boy with wario land. I also played the piano so I was already good on hand eye coordination, plus Zelda taught me problem solving. There has to be something out there that's kid friendly and still a challenge, he has a leapfrog tablet with word games on it but there's no harm in playing something for fun instead of studying for school yknow? Just need that happy medium.
