Your post seems buried I will bump for recognition. Also because I love Star Wars. Little sad that Disney scrapped all the books, comics, games, and lore that wasn't tied strictly to the movies.

Thank you.

Not true. They use A LOT of expanded universe stuff like the outrider from shadows of the empire and the raven's claw from the jedi knight series. all of the games are canon apparently too like star wars republic commando and rogue squadron.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wars_canon this will clarify plus if you google "are Star Wars games canon" this pops up in bold black. "In a recent blog post, reported by CVG, LucasFilm has announced that all Star Wars video games and expanded universe media is non-canon. Just like that. This basically means all video games set in the Star Wars world--despite their license--are not part of the official Star Wars story.Apr 29, 2014"

However, disney acknowledges the clone wars series(2007) as canon. And delta squad made an appearance in it. Look it up.

Edited by TheGreatPugtato: 10/31/2015 4:09:04 PMI did. "On April 25, 2014, Lucasfilm and Disney removed all Expanded Universe works from the canon. They announced that the existing six films and The Clone Wars television series are the "immovable objects" of Star Wars storytelling." So clone series is but not anything else. So delta no longer plays the large role they once did.
-
THEN WHY IS DELTA SQUA CANON!!? THEY HAD A GAME AND WERE IN THE CLONE WARS SERIES!!!
-
Where ever you got that from it's non-canon according to the post. Sadly this means our beloved games aren't considered canon. Even Delta squad. Goodbye Lord Naga Shadow.
-
Yeah. They even got rid of korriban, its been renamed. But im pretty sure they kept naga sadow because yoda goes into his tomb in the last clone wars episode.
-
I hope they keep him. The guy made stars go super nova.
