You should only get 2 at a time (a PvE quest and a PvP quest) for the first subclass. To unlock the others (for the emblem) you must complete the quest for the first subclass to unlock the second.
If you played when Destiny just released the 2.0 patch its possible that you simply abandoned the quest so make sure to check the Abandoned Quests kiosk.

They aren't in the kiosk and I have all the path of quest complete except for the sunbreaker in the titan class

You have the Path of Gunslinger/Bladedancer/etc done? You're contradicting your original statement. Do you have the quests complete or not? Actually let me ask this: Do you have the class items and/or emblems for all the subclasses?

the only 2 class emblems I have are for striker and defender. I can not get thhe path of quests to trigger for my other 2 character

So you haven't been able to get the class item quests at all? Okay have you tried to change subclass in and out of the Tower? This may prompt Zavala to give you the quest.

I have the subclass items and emblems for defender and striker. I am sorry about the confusion. I tried switching subclasses in the tower in orbit and even went as far as completing missions and trying to go back and prompt zavala
