Yeah, they know. There are ton of pointless threads on this. The frontier shell is inferior anyways.

You are free to use it. But like all other year one gear, it is inferior to year 2 gear. The choice to use it still is up to you, but Bungie has no obligation to upgrade it for your sake or anyone else's. They made it clear that year 1 legendary gear would not get year 2 upgrades. That includes the Ghost.

It has an infuse option on it but it doesnt work

I know. As you said, it's because there are no compatible Year 1 ghosts to infuse into it. The Frontier Shell got a semi-year 2 treatment during Update 2.0, along with many other aspects of Destiny. But like other year one gear, it did not get brought up to full year 2 power, and it probably never will. If the infusion node on the Frontier Shell bothers you, I'd suggest learning to ignore it. It's not going away and it's not going to become useful. It's just there.

Haha.. I have a 317 one but it's the same as every other high ghost.. and like I said I haven't seen anyone with the frontier shell and I like to have something different to everyone else

Okay, so if say 250 thousand people got it that is about 1.25% of people that have the game so... really people don't have it... and I can guarantee that every single person with the Frontier Ghost Shell won't infuse it up

Im not sure how stupid you are but seriously google helps and you just changed your answer from a few hundred thousand to 1 million and according to this https://gyazo.com/a3e03b935c15bbd684d16e83fe3540dd there are 20 million and even at 1 million thats only 5% so there still aren't many people that own it and still not all of that 5% will infuse it up

You don't seem to grasp the concept of "Become Legend" in an RPG game, making your character different and unique to everyone else. When everyone has the King's Fall Raid ghost shell at 320, and some have the Trials shell at 320, then those are the only things people go for. But when some players decided to invest further back at the beginning, some people want to show off their special red and white ghost at 320 than resolving to the norm.
