This is really well thought out, though I disagree on a few points (nothing major):
Why not have all 3 Foundries make all weapon types? Vanilla (and later, up to TTK) Fusion Rifles already look like Hakke weapons, so it's not a stretch to imagine them making some. I'd love to see an Omolon rocket launcher and machine gun, not to mention shotguns and side-arms from both. Also, no autos or scouts from Omolon makes me sad.
That's really it, I think. I just want all Foundries to have all weapon types. I like the idea of further incorporating the other Foundries, and I'm not sure how I feel about the Foundry armor, but it seems like it could work. I do kind of want to transmat in looking like a cross between the Master Chief and an M1A1 Abrams...

Edited by Rho'gath: 10/23/2015 8:43:11 AMAlright. I can understand wanting to see heavy weapons from Omolon, it's just that the type of munitions they use makes it... hard to be viable from a logical stand point... but in saying that it could very well work with a bit of creative engineering... I'll do a small update to the post to include all weapons The idea behind the Foundry armor is more of a way to benefit players that primarily use one Foundries weapons. For me I love my Hakke weapons while some of my mates prefer the feel of the Suros weapons. Wouldn't stop you mixing and matching armor so you gain a benefit for all types of weapons and it would never be something game breaking like "take reduced damage from Hakke/Suros/Omolon weapons in Crucible" or "Deal more damage with *insert Foundry here* weapons"

Yeah, I could see the armor working out pretty well. If nothing else it would look neat, yeah? And the way I figure it with all weapons for the 3 main is just that there's not really much about any of their philosophies that would preclude the missing weapon types, and I'd love to see their take on them, you know? It is nice to have specialties though.

Of course, completely understand. Overall, glad you like the post
