One Orb Strategy is Garbage lol
I can't wait till hard mode when this crap don't fly anymore.

The one orb strategy still works in hard mode. Its not as efficient as two gaze holders, but it still works.

Either strategy is fine and it's the teams personally preference, to be honest I assumed 6 orb strategy would be more necessary for hard mode but doing the one orb takes 2-3 cycles and proved to be MUCH safer. The biggest benefit is the fact you refill supers and ammo from killing adds between phases so you'll never run out of either during damage phase, not to mention you don't need to worry about cursed thrall spawns in the middle. With as many people as possible doing constant DPS you'll do the same amount of damage in one orb as you would with 4 orbs with other strategy, and that's without the worry of having somebody dying.

Not sure if b8? But why make a fight harder for yourself, 1 orb is the best strat.. & it obviously still works in hardmode.. I done it in 1 run without wiping with an LFG lol.

The first two times I beat Golgoroth I beat it by doing all six orbs each round. And I can easily say the one orb strategy just makes more sense and is better. So what's your argument here?

Actually that's one of the only ways now in hard mode. It's way to hard to shoot all 5 axion darts, shoot next orb plus crowd control on thrall

76 RepliesI beg your pardon sir, but in no right can you declare a strategy, proven to work, as garbage. I would think that you would take the time to consider various other encounters, and perhaps even the human race as a whole, before you determine that something is, what you would declare: "garbage." First, let me take you back to the Crota encounter. During this time, the intended strategy was to fight Crota by causing him to take a knee, in which the Sword Bearer would approach Crota, and inflict damage onto him within the time period. Now, I can tell you that the developers did not intend for you to stand on a window ledge, fire rockets into Crota, while another player navigated rocks and geometry attempting to "smash" Crota numerous times. You can clearly see that players were likely meant to maintain this encounter on the ground the entire time, they take down the sword bearer together, perhaps kill the other bearer and then engage Crota. This is obvious by the Tier 3 encounter within the Dreadnaught. People obviously determined that there could be a better way, and in turn, found one. Additionally, in your ignorance, you failed to recognize one of humanity's traits, in which we think critically enough to surpass a challenge using that thinking to develop an "out of the box" approach to conquer a challenge. Throughout History, this has been apparent, the very Declaration of Independence was penned with the very notion that one can fight, rule or live with a different strategy or technique. These people found a way to win their battle, and merely because it was not your idea or technique, you merit yourself with the authority to determine that their idea is garbage? How laughably ignorant and vain of you to assume that only your practice is the method in which to succeed. Before anything, while you have the right to your opinion, you should show the respect as to not vandalize the ideas and practices of others. You owe those people an apology, otherwise, by these standards and such disrespect, I will elect to report this post.
