This is the first post where I see positive comments about Destiny RNG. You either are paid by Bungie, not in the game for long enough, or just a crowd that thinks differently. I respect your opinion wherever you stand. I am just very surprised. I've ran raids more times than I can remember to either get things I already had received (i.e.: 10 Mida Multi-tool) or shards/energy. I have never received Gjallarhorn and Hunger of Crota. The Crota Boots only dropped for me twice and only after many attempts. I did get the Crux of Crota 3 times though. To me and my team it has been extremely frustrating to dismantle an Exotic someone has never been able to get, and have no option to give it away instead or exchange w/ the other player. To me, Destiny RNG is one of the main problems in the game and one I do not believe Bungie will ever fix.

If you were never #forever29, you probably like RNG. And then there are players who only want to play "Destiny" and whether RNG shines on them or shards on them, it doesn't matter.

Yes, people have different perspectives. The focus you give when playing makes all the difference. Despite my frustration w/ RNG, I am still around. After a while you have to accept how things are and take the best from them. One thing I noticed in me though is that once XUR sold Gjallarhorn, my anxiety went away. I finally got what I wanted from Day 1. Even knowing about the nerfing. That did not matter to me. Nowadays, I play w/ no anxiety at all. Somehow Gjallarhorn was like that girl you have a crush on and never get to have her look at you. :-) Best of luck to you!
