They nerfed it because everyone (well, the majority) was using it in PvP. Same with Felwinters. And if you had read the Updates before the Taken King dropped you would've known they were going to nerf it.

How am I a fgt? Because I use a sniper? Real mature. If you looked at my stats for PvP you'd notice that I don't play a lot. I stink at PvP and would rather play against the computer. And if I am playing PvP, I don't camp, I run in guns blazing and get killed quickly. Still the reason those weapons were nerfed was because they were used by a lot of players. I never had either of them (I have another account that I used in Year 1) and didn't give two shits about getting killed by them.
