16 RepliesI was recently on a cruise ship, sitting and enjoying a glass of bourbon and watching people pass nearby and the waves roll past a little further away and was approached by a cocktail waitress. She was very nice, explained that she was from Croatia, and that she really liked my beard. Her English was sufficient for us to make small talk and joke a bit, when the she looked around, smiled and said to me, "In my country, do you know what we call a man without a beard?" I said that I was sorry and didn't know the customs of her nation. She smiled and replied "A woman. I like your beard very much," Of course she got great tips from me for the rest of the cruise.

Beard is love. Beard is life. I keep mine reeeealy short tho. I'm in highschool, I feel like a big beard would be weird. Plus my gf would kill me if it got longer than a 1/4 inch.
