3 of coin is worthless
I just used a lotttt of coins on a boss fight. I think the scientific name is "shit ton". And It gave me a purple. Don't waste your coins on this item.

It's because you're doing it wrong. They don't stack and you should only use one per boss.

...once per boss. One coin. If you use more than one at a time you waste them. The next time you use one your odds of exotic go up.

One per boss, if it doesn't drop, it improves percentages for the next strike as long as you keep going. Then, vanguard legacy perk as well as I personally feel the drop rate on the heroics is higher since they drop 1-2 purples anyways, and my rate is about 25% for 36's and 45ish for heroics. Gotten plenty of exo's and my telesto' as well as my Zhalo well be nice and shiny as long as your tears don't land on them.

First of all, three of coins is for exotic engrams, not legendarys, second you only need to use on at a time

You know they don't stack, right? You can only use one buff at a time, your chances increase each time you use it until you get an exotic.

2 Replies1 at a time. Using several at a time has no extra affect. By stacking it means, use one, kill an ultra, no drop? Next time you use one you'll have an even better chance.

35 nerfed 3 of coins, 1 emgram and it gave me the stag. I dont even use my warlock.

Probably unusually good RNG luck, but yesterday I ran 8 heroics with the 3oC on and I got 5 exotics out of it.

Stacking the coins also only marginally improves your drop ratio. The best way is to use one at the beginning of each strike. Doing it this way will get you around 1 engram per every 4-6 strikes. Please learn to destiny.

The first one I use every single day for the last 2 weeks gives me a drop. Every Single Day Average 2 or 3 out of every 10 I use.

Dont use then all for one boss. Use one for each boss. You will more likely get a exotic over multiple strikes. Also use it at the start of a strike

I've been using one a day , seems like the percentage is greater this way , getting mostly repeats but at least its working , I'd say around 50%

Um I think you are confused. You don't use multiple at once , or , "a shit ton". It's a one time use thing. If you don't get a drop, pop another at the next ultra and you have better chances.

I seem to get 1 out of 7 kills on an ultra. Just don't like it when I get an armour engram since they are not selling year 2 weapons. Guess all the "I earned mine" post ruined it. You can barely earn anything. It is all luck and rng.
