  • The movement of matter. As long as something is in motion, there will always be time

  • That's not an explanation.

  • Time is the natural state of decay per unit defined. This unit, to us, is known as a second

Time was created last Thursday. By who? I'd put my best guess on Thursday.

  • I think that time is a given, until we can move backwards through it to the origin

  • It's a given that it exists, but not what caused it.

  • Well the thing is time is an artificial concept. We labeled it and put numbers to it. So messing with time in all this can't really get you anywhere because when we are talking about the yer, how long the earth has been here, how long ago the universe was created, there are many places for error, because time is a man-made idea. Our concept of how long things are could be vastly different from how they actually are. Keep in mind we are just one species and perceive things differently than other species. Look at some insects. Some live less than a week but to them it's the natural length of time to live. To them, it would seem we are almost immortal.

  • I'm not talking about measuring it, I'm taking about how everything progresses. We call that progression of all things time, but what caused that? We know it is manipulated by gravity, so what is it and where did it come from?

  • Alright, my bad, I was being too technical. Lemme do a bit of research so I don't seem like an uneducated peasant.

  • I'll save you the time. We don't know.
