I present to you the most useless item in destiny!
Three If Coins, ive used a bunch post-nerf and have only received a total of 0 engrams! Any strikes that give a higher drop rate??? Help!

The drops are artificial RNG bs, like how control is playable one day and clash isn't, then it flips the next day and control is impossible while clash is playable. Again, if today isn't your day, just try again tomorrow.

Use it on the daily heroics, that's where most of mine came from. You can pop one the second you start the mission if you want, it will hold even if you quit. Whatever you do, don't waste time attempting to farm ultras. Just use them as you go through dailies, nightfall, raid, court, etc. You're bound to get a drop eventually. E: for clarification it doesn't need to be a strike. It won't be wasted if whatever mission you try doesn't have an ultra, so experiment! I find the heroic daily missions are usually quicker than a strike while still offering a challenge and opportunity for better loot, and with a 3oC the chance for an exotic too.

I have actually received more engrams using ToC after the nerf actually. Gotta love RNG!

Iv done quite well from the three of coins. I quite like them. Even after the nerf.

The strike drop rate is now the same as killing Draxis. So you usually get 1 exotic per 5 coins (tip: don't stack them)

I've used 10 and got 3 engrams. Once was a double and later a single. Worked for me.

I used 10 coind the other day in Court of Oryx and got 4 exotics. It still works fine

I've gotten 3 310 gear in the last 12 coins, as well as a 290 helm. But you're right, they are completely useless.

Only useless in the fact that I've gotten 5 hearafters, 3 jade rabbits, 3 alpha lupie, all hunter helmets, all hunter gauntlets, 1 suros, 1 invective and 1 last word. 60 coins.

Ability to farm for exotics? FARM. FOR. EXOTICS. [b]FARM. EXOTICS.[/b] Man, I don't give a shit if you don't get anything, or if I keep getting goddamn Alpha Lupi chests - I'm just happy to be able to get them outside of sheer dumb luck. Useless? There is no downside to them. You can make 40 coins a week, easy. No effort. That'll get you a few things from Xur, plus it's easy to get more coins to buy some 3oCs and farm for more exotics. Where is the downside here. I've had 500 coins burning a hole in my pocket since halfway through Year 1. They have a use now. Most useless item? Etheric Light.

I've used 10 and got 5. 2 were duplicate pieces of armor but regardless, 50 percent is pretty damn good.

Still random. Some people are lucky, others not so. Ive used about 150 and ive had about 12 exotic engrams, maybe more. Only half of that was pre nerf. U must persist if u wish to reap the rewards :)
