NOTHING (in the crucible) should be able to take a Golden Gun except Ward.
Never had a rage post get this much attention... But anyways,
Im not saying that Sunbreaker needs a nerf. I just think that if I shoot my GG at the same time you throw your hammer, and we both connect, both of us should die. So if anything, I think a bit more of a buff for GG would fix this.
I agree as well that ward of dawn should be able to take three shots of GG.
Sorry I was pretty intense in the original post. Been killed by a supered hammer ALOT this last week.

It was supposed to be an instant kill in every shot after this patch.

Took me two shots to kill a Titan with GG today. He was able to throw his hammer at the last second to trade with me. That's not fair. And he was not standing near a sunspot either, he was in the air.

Edited by ParsonsPorsche!!!: 9/25/2015 5:21:11 AMSlayed plenty of sunbreaker Titans today don't see an issue really yet I have not played a hunter or my warlock since before ttk, but today double shot to the face with chaperone put one down. 1000 yard stare max stability head shoted one ( may have already had hit shield halfway) I play as Titan but prefer my striker to hammer of sol personally.

11 RepliesI'll defend hammer of sol to all hell and back, But seeing how solar is supposed to eat solar in this game yes golden gun should destroy HoS. Similar to how nova bombs destroy Titan bubbles. High impact snipers should also KO High impact point blank shotguns should also bring them down like everything else. Other than that don't touch my hammer

It would be awesome if the GG bullet and the hammer impacted and caused a huge explosion. (; But in all seriousness, yes indeed my friend I agree, I'm a Titan myself and I would be cool with that.

nothing should be able to take a nova bomb either if their just of the side. Nothing should survive a fist of havoc even if they blink out of the way. Your point is?

Why are all the hunters up in arms about this? Each character has a role to play, I don't bitch and moan everytime I get popped in the face by a sunbreaker while I'm trying to use my stormtrance on him. Sunbreakers are high single target damage so maybe don't rush into a hammer fight with a gun.

Even with out the celestial helmet i have oneshot a titan with a well aimed GG, ffs i have killed one with bladedancer.... People are crying for nerfs but cant change subclasses to counter a class. If you see alot of titans then swap gear/ class and go nightstalker lol
