Yes but they are completely optional. Everything in game can be earned or traded for, including the currency they use for microtransactions.

Also war frame and destiny at too different games comparing them is far from a good argument one is a AAA game the other is a free to play micro transaction game that's kinda like a poor mans cod or halo multiplayer only

Look if you had free doc for destiny but could pay money for every exotic it wouldn't be fun every game has some kind of income after launching so either get a job or don't buy the game
