Well actually it kinda makes a bit of sense, if you have 2 shotguns that hold 5 shells each and you have 20 shells in total. You choose to use one shotgun and you load it with 5 shells which puts your reserves down to 15 and then you decide to switch shotguns to the other one and then load that with 5 shells your reserves have now gone down to 10... As far as I know, if you then switch back to the original shotgun it shouldn't take anything from your reserves because it was already loaded. Make sense?

 • But its not like that. If you switch back to the first shotgun you don't have the shells loaded anymore. The game just takes them away for good. Which is very stupid. They just disappear.

 • Yeah true.... But it does sort of make somewhat sense though, it should work like that but hey, at least they fixed the issue with heavy where if you died and respawned or when you spawned the first time you lost some heavy, maybe they'll fix this issue...
hopefully
