Etheric Light is Useless Right?
So.. Since everything has gone down to 170 damage what is the point of doing POE? Maybe I a missing something but I do not see the need to earn this anymore. Thoughts, comments?

Everything was normalized. 170 Attack is the same as the old 365 Attack. At this moment, the only reason to get Etheric Light is to continue to upgrade old year 1 gear to 170 Attack/Defense. With the change in the light leveling system, you could potentially still get away with using a piece or two of year 1 gear if your other gear is high enough.

6 RepliesThe thing I've learned about bungie is not to delete stuff just because it's useless at the moment. I broke down so many pulse rifles when they sucked only to wish I had them after the buff.

4 RepliesI'm not sure if etheric will still be used to level the TTK legendaries, but I wouldn't get rid of it just yet. Let those materials simmer in case they become applicable to TTK weapons
