Not sure how it works on the PS, but if you are on xbox one you can just make a second live account for free. No need to delete anything.

But why have the burden of having 2 accounts playing the same game

Just to play the story through. Once the story is done go back to your main account. No reason to grind the alt. This way you won't lose any of your faction ranks.

Oh well I dont mind restarting ranks :) theres no special bonus for being a higher rank
