You have to remember that a majority of the members who partake in these forums struggle to engage in civil disagreement without allowing their emotions to eventually erode and dicate how they engage each other.
I've stirred the pot plenty of times but when I want to get my point across I do it in an objective and civil manner. That's how you do things on social media, which IMO is more akin to a social scourge.

I absolutely agree with you. In a former post of mine, I openly called out the uncivilized Guardian Malcontents, criticizing them for their brutish approach to idealistic exchange. It didn't go well. I know all too well just what ilk populates these forums. It is my perhaps vain attempt to impose civility where none is found. Will my effort bear tangible fruition? Likely not. But the effort, at the very least, must be made by somebody.

Maybe just focus on the need for a more civil debate? I agree with all your points. I do believe that Bungie will improve and that most of the changes for TTK are not that bad. But those that are furious right now see someone defend Bungie and they immediately attack. Even if that someone is just calling for patience. If we dial back inflammatory language, then we can start to find common ground. Just a thought.

They will be happy to butt heads until the end of time mate. I'm just glad there's still room for articulate and valuable feedback. This is what happens when you permit an exceptionally variable age and maturity demographic access to a public forum.

It is unfortunate, yes. But thank you for taking the time to read this and thank you for replying. Stay golden, Guardian.
