Hi,
As long as you stick to the same account, all progress will transfer as intended.
If you purchased a Physical Edition or Digital post Jan 15th, you must rebuy the game, but if you bought a Digital Edition before Jan 15th, you should be able to use the [b][url=https://www.destinythegame.com/digital-upgrade]Digital Upgrade[/url][/b] to transfer it for free.
Currently, you are able to use the [b][url=https://www.destinythegame.com/digital-upgrade]Digital Upgrade[/url][/b] to transfer your DLC from last gen ------> current gen.

Hmm, I bought vanilla Destiny physical edition before Jan 15th. I bought both DLC's digitally after Jan 15th. I thought the next-gen deal was extended? Hoping I don't have to buy everything again :(

You'd only have to rebuy the game. Your DLCs should transfer.

So I figured I'd just buy TTK Collector's Edition since it comes with the original Destiny and TTK. Hoping I'm still eligible for my year one goodies even though I now technically own 2 digital copies of expansion 1&2?
