Just witnessed sexism at its finest
So a couple people had posted things about all white male clans. I had posted comments on them, and went to go check my replies. They had all been taken down. Why are all black clans and all female clans allowed, but white male clans aren't?
EDIT: Keep seeing the KKK used as an excuse, which is incredibly racist within itself.

Because western society has accepted things like affirmative action and the wage gap myth for decades now. Any concepts of "reverse racism or sexism" (hate that phrase cause all racism or sexism [i]is[/i] racism or sexism) are completely foreign to them. Even when logical arguments and facts, they choose to stay blind to the issue.

3 RepliesI personally wouldn't have a problem with an all-white, all-male clan, but at the same time, it really isn't necessary. People say they want an all male, all white clan to 'celebrate being white and being male,' which if fine, but it also [i]completely[/i] missing the point of having racial or gender based exclusivity in clans. The idea isn't to celebrate your identity, it's to create a safe gaming environment. Because sexism and racism are big problems in this community, wether you want to admit it or not. The Dames event is proof enough of that. And people will say 'but white males can be discriminated against for their race and gender too'...but can they really, to the same extent as all the minority groups? Before you all go at me, just ask yourself the following questions, and answer them completely honestly: 1) How many times have you been made to feel unsafe or insecure because of your race or gender? 2) Which gender do you more commonly see degraded for their gender, or have sexist slurs directed towards: males or females? 3) Which race do you more commonly see degraded because of their race, or have racist slurs directed towards: whites or non-whites? 4) Would you feel safer in this community as a white male, or a member of a minority group?

We can learn from the past, but instead we carry that grudge over for generations. Sexism, Racism, same concept. Men have always been generalized by some women that we all think we're superior. Some men have thought they were superior than women. Not true in either case. Certain races have always beaten up on other races, and other races have fought back. For some cases, it's gotten to the point where we don't even KNOW where the hatred started. So why continue it? Holding grudges is a flaw that is exempt to humans. Animals don't hold grudges, but we do. We hold grudges for things we don't even understand. All that it's going to do is hold humanity back further. Coexist. It's a concept that some don't quite understand. It's not even that difficult either. No race is better than the other. Neither gender is superior to the other. I think it's funny how I'm 15 and a lot of the people who comment here are full grown adults. I don't quite understand how some can regress that far through age, but I don't care anymore. I've learned to treat everyone with equal respect. I'm a white male that is friends with all races. I have female friends, and I have male friends. I coexist. You can too. [spoiler]Don't attempt to belittle me because of my age. If you disagree, it probably means I'm more mature than you anyway. Save yourself the embarrassment and don't even comment.[/spoiler]

1 ReplyThere were these Mexican dudes who owned a restaurant and had a white pride day. Whites ate at a reduced price. It caught the attention of the news and the reporter on it was a black male. The questions he asked clearly indicateD that he felt but hurt about it. He was acting entitled to a discount too. The owners promptly stated they had a whole month for that. CASE CLOSED
