The fact that every NPC looks like they're hunched over. (Shite animations.)
The repetition of voices among NPCs.
The fact that so many NPCs are needlessly homosexual. (I'm looking at you Dominion!)
The fact that the game tries so hard to be like Skyrim.
The utter disregard for established Elder Scrolls lore by Zenimax.
Bethesda Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks have given Zenimax their blessing to do with the Lore what they need to. Why? Because there's so little Lore about the Second Era that there's no chance of Zenimax -blam!-ing up the small bit of Lore that is there already!!! And BTW, they haven't -blam!-ed up any Lore yet, so... maybe do some research before posting drivel? Your protestations have lost their potency.
What did they do so bad that completely destroys the lore? Is it the trees in cyrodil? Not that big a deal bro. And if your gonna say that having millions of overpowered people running around breaks lore then that is your own fault for expecting a multiplayer game to not break lore in that fact. Any and all online games are going to have to break that line so get used to it.
-
It had nothing to do with trees. It's the accuracy of the depiction of provinces that haven't received proper games.
-
The three factions? That's is true but I'm not really upset about it. If you ask me it's not possible to break the lore in the Elder Scrolls because to me it seems that bethesda gave themselves a "get out of jail free" card by implimenting the idea of a "dragon split" I think is what they call it. Basically it's a way to for past events to have played out differently then how they were depicted in the lore. So for all we know there very well could have been the three factions but was "hidden" with the dragon split or whatever it's called.
-
You mean the Dragon Break? Hmm... So you're saying that they could erase the events of ESO by using the Dragon Break to de-canonize the game itself? Interesting...
-
More like a dragon break could have been done already so the events of ESO could be the events that actually happened and what's in current lore from skyrim etc is wrong. Maybe? Idk maybe I'm misunderstanding what the dragon break is fully.
-
The Dragon Break made all possible truths and events truth for a time. Not sure how that would reflect on the lore. I just see ESO putting constraints on Bethesda Studios' ability to do as it pleases with the provinces we haven't seen in other games.
-
I see what your saying. Idk personally I don't think they really screwed anything up that bad. I enjoy it. I actually read something the other day that bethesda may not make a new elder scrolls game at all. Elder scrolls online may be the last of it.

Edited by Legman: 7/28/2015 9:03:20 AMThe characters don't really seem hunched over and for so much voice acting I find it well done and overall diverse ( played though almost each faction I'm vr8). I've skipped a lot of quests in ad but still haven't found a gay themed quest line. To me it surely doesn't feel like it's trying to be any of the previous games (skyrim). The lore is great I really enjoyed the ebonheart pacts story the most but ad+dlc take best looking areas to lvl. How does the lore wrong? Especially after you read this https:/.twitter.com/TESOnline/status/372017971423498240 Edit: I'm a moron thought you said it was wrong. You should read up on the ep it's a awesome background story.

Edited by Tiber of Astora: 7/28/2015 10:16:08 PMThey aren't necessarily hunched over. They just look goofy.
The characters don't really seem hunched over and for so much voice acting I find it well done and overall diverse ( played though almost each faction I'm vr8). I've skipped a lot of quests in ad but still haven't found a gay themed quest line.
The Dominion has three. Several inconsequential NPCs are gay as well. Its more of a personal issue, but it feels like pandering. I suppose Bioware is worse, but who really cares anymore? The game disregards lore centered on things like Valenwood, Elsweyr, and Black Marsh. The various beast forms of Hircine's followers, the various Khajiit races of Elsweyr, the geography of each province as established by lore, etc.
