Yes, certain screens will suffer from burn-in, image retention. Other screens do not. I think we all know this. I certainly am aware that image retention and burn in is a possibility, but I, perhaps stubbornly, still think a fix is a reasonable thing to ask for. The last plasmas were probably sold in 2015, so, there's probably a non trivial segment of plasma players that might be accommodated with simple tweaks.
