I hate to say this, but plasma TVs are bad for gaming because of the burn image thing. It has been like that for as long as I remember, its not bungie's fault(this time)

  • Not true, when I was younger I kept Mario paused and my parents didn't notice. That TV had Mario stuck on everything they watched

  • Well yes the older plasmas were more susceptible to full screen burn in.

  • Create a transparency patch for the HUD. The bright white gun logos, ammo numbers and the yellow bar are the things that retain the worse. Allow the game to have adjustable transparency for the HUD and problem solved.

  • I play halo, Diablo, gta, titanfall. Not a speck of long term retention.

  • If you switch games a lot or dont play for prolonged periods, or if a game has a ui that fades in and out, then you won't necessarily have scree retention like that

  • It really needs color options, removal controls, or transparency controls and the HUD will not give screens long term retention.
