Nightwing is the perfect choice for a game the story writes itself. The gameplay could be like the Arkham games except for having a vehicle he would have awesome fluid parkour to help him get around bludhaven. I have a general story written out if you would like me to PM just tell me

Edited by labusaleem: 7/19/2015 4:17:46 PMThe story opens with the death of the flying Grayson's and the tutorial/first chapter is Dick becoming Robin and being Robin while we learn combat, stealth, and parkour. At the end of the first chapter Dick is 18 and him and Bruce get into a argument about how he controls people and he is manipulative so dick quits and goes off on his own. He goes to metropolis to visit superman. Superman tells him the story of Nightwing and dick decides to take up the name of Nightwing and he moves to bludhaven to begin his solo career as his own hero. He then gets a job as a bartender and one day he is watching tv and sees that batman and robin (Jason Todd) have defeated two face and he is back in Arkham. Dick then is out on patrol one night when he encounters batman and robin in bludhaven. He approaches them and questions why they are in his city. Jason being the hot head he is attacks dick and is quickly defeated. Bruce tells dick that he apologizes for everything that happened when Dick left and wants him to come back. It has only been 6 months and dick isn't ready to come back to batman right away. batman and robin return to Gotham when dick catches wind of a planed assassination of the bludhaven mayor tomorrow night at a press event. Dick goes to the event and he finds deathstroke (the main villain of the story) they fight and Nightwing losses badly and barely escapes. Months down the line he is a more established and experienced solo hero. We then follow a story line of black mask coming to bludhaven along with his organization dick defeats black mask near the end of the game. He finds out black mask left Gotham because Bruce Wayne was going to be assassinated and chaos would break out in Gotham and he didn't want to be there for that to happen. The assassin no other than deathstroke. Dick contacts Bruce and tells him about the assassination and they decide to come together and defeat deathstroke along with Jason. They beat deathstroke and make up at the end. Bruce tells dick he wants him to train Jason. Dick agrees and he quickly sees Jason as a a brother. Barbara would be dicks girlfriend in the game but she doesn't show up after the tutorial because she is staying in Gotham at the time. The dlc would contain a adventure with Dick and Jason tracking down victor zasz and we would see the brotherhood between the two and at the end Jason would be killed by the joker. Keel in mind this is a rough draft of the story I would like criticism please so I can improve the story

No joker kills him I should have put that In there I just wanted them to go after a minor villain to focus on their relationship

Sounds cool actually, its like multiple chapters of Nightwing's life in motion, Would love to see the banter between Dick and Jason in the dlc. I think that adding some other smaller villains to the spotlight (Mad Hatter, Zsaz like you said, Clayface) to become Bludhaven's greatest threat besides Deathstroke's assasination bounties. Would like to hear about the sequel like you said in the other comment.

The sequel would take place 4 years after the death of Jason Todd and Nightwing would be back in Gotham (bludhaven was destroyed you will see that in the prequel dlc) Tim has been robin for 3 years and is at his peak when he is jumped by a mysterious figure that says he is Jason Todd and he is disappointed in his replacement. A beaten and scared Tim drake goes to batman and Nightwing to tell them of what has happened. Bruce and Dick are in denial that he could be back from the dead they are sure it's someone the joker sent to mess with them. But deep down they know it's true and they know he is back for revenge. Nightwing is tracking a penguin gun shipment into Gotham when he gets there to interrupt the deal bullets zip past dicks head and take out all of penguins men in the matter of seconds. Dick turns around to see a man in a leather jacket and red helmet donning a red bat symbol on his chest. Dick asks "Jason?" He replies angrily "You and Bruce allowed me to die dick and I understand that but you both left him ALIVE!" Dick says "Jason you were my brother Bruce's son come back we can help you get over this" Jason says their is no helping me " We will meet again soon enough Dick". In this moment we will see Jason's emotion and how he feels betrayed that dick and Bruce never avenged him. Dick returns to the batcave horrified and worried of what Jason has planned Dick tells Bruce and Bruce walks over to the torn robin suit in the batcave and just stares. Moments later Tim walks in and Bruce tells him to get out of town for a while until they figure out who this man is parading as Jason. Tim tells him " you know I can't do that right?" Bruce Yells "THATS AN ORDER ROBIN!" Tim looks at dick and dick nods his head and tells him to go to the Titans tower for a while. They both know what jason is capable of and are scared for tims life. Tim leaves and Bruce tells dick " if he is planning something we must be prepared what all did he say?" Dick playbacks the footage taken from his mask. Bruce sees his son for the first time in years he looks sad and scared he calls Alfred to the batcave. Alfred arrives and is told to look at the screen Alfred begins crying and asks"Master Todd? He is alive?" Dick then leaves the batcave and returns to his apartment in the city to see the training escrima stick that he gave to Jason to train with laying on the table Jason was in his home. Dick is frightened of what Jason may or do. So he gets his suit back on and goes back out there. He gets a call from Bruce saying that Jason left a note in the cave while he was a asleep saying " you let your family die" written in what appears to be blood (reference to the batman v superman trailer) Bruce says we aren't safe we might be facing a threat that knows how we fight, how we think and where we live. Batman and Nightwing then begin a patrol the next night in hopes to find Jason and they do. Jason leads them to crime alley where Bruce found Jason, and where Bruce's parents died. The three of them are face to face. They try to talk to Jason but he won't listen he wants them to listen to what he has to say. He goes on a huge rant about dick and Bruce and accusing Bruce of never loving him like he loved Grayson and how dick was always the perfect son. Bruce tells Jason that he loves him and he sees what happen to him as his greatest failure and a day doesn't pass with out him regretting what happened. Jason throws down smoke and leaves. Back at the cave dick says he is going to track down a lead on joker down in metropolis. Bruce tells dick to stay safe and tell Clark hi. Dick arrives in metropolis and contacts superman. They meet on the daily planet building and begin discussing the recent events Clark is sad of what happened to Jason and wishes it was different. He then helps dick locate the "safehouse" of the joker. He arrives there and sees blood all over the floor and walls with a note that reads tell batman to meet me in crime alley tomorrow night alone! Bruce goes there and the scene straight from under the red hood plays out. Jason is gone but he will be back. Tim returns to Gotham and asks what happened. Bruce and dick refuse to tell him. Then the game ends with Jason looking over the Gotham skylight it zooms in on his face and he looks kinda sad but that sadness turns into anger as he puts on his helmet and dives of the building cutting to credits. The free roam would have side missions including villains like penguin, riddler, two face, dead shot, killer croc, black mask, ra's al ghul, and others. The combat and parkour would remain the same but with new animations. Nightwing's suit would be similar to the new 52 suit from the time he was in Chicago but it would be blue instead of red. The dlc would go over the time he went under cover and worked with deathstroke to them eventuall making a deal that bludhaven is off limits to and deathstroke breaks the deal and destroys the city
