That's how everyone is doing it. Pain in the ass, but it's just like Blades of Crota, until they fix it or it goes away.

Before HoW, the Blades could be found in all public areas on the Moon and Earth, so back then you could have completed the bounty while doing patrol (and/or other bounties) without ever having to go to orbit. The fact that you need to launch the Fist of Crota 3 times to do that bounty now is irrelevant. And technically, you could do it all from location on Earth or the Moon because the Blades would respawn, whereas the targets in the wanted bounties never respawn. As for myself, I don't even see a point to doing the Eris bounties anymore...once you're rank 4 there is no point, except to do the Nightfall bounty for the 3 motes, and even still there isn't much point in doing that either because bungie changed it to give you oodles of motes on a daily basis. This is, imo, an oversight on bungie's part.

I was referring to the way the Blades of Crota bounty has to be completed NOW. I know how it used to be. But there are still people joining the game that don't remember the good old days when knights used to spawn all over the Cosmodrome.

But that's not the point, the point is that, unlike the Eris bounties, the Queen's Bounties come in one of two forms: 1) Go to public area, wait for pack of wolves and kill target that comes in the last wave. 2) Go to non-public area and find and kill the target(s) And up to the silent fang bounty all bounties of type 2) had all targets needed to complete the bounty at the given location. Why would there be one Queen's bounty that is an oddball in this way? Plus the bounty description says hunt the silent fang, singular. Implying you should only need to kill one silent fang to complete the bounty, not three of them. The blades of crota bounty was meant to require 3 kills for completion, clearly the silent fang bounty was not, based on the trend of the past wanted bounties and the wording of the bounty itself. Yes you have to go to the destination 3 times to complete both bounties but that is the only similarity.
